Front Pages of the World

1. What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? My favorite newspaper front page is the The Post Standard. I like this front page because it shows kids using their right to protest. It shows that the younger generation can make a difference. 
2. What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? My favorite headline is Growing Push for Gun Laws. I am interested in it because this has been a big controversial argument for a long time and now I want to know what is going to happen. I know hunters still want guns to be able to hunt and have fun. Everyone else need something to defend themselves it is just a bunch of what if's. 
3. How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? There are 6 Stories on The Post Standard's front page. 
4. What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc. All of the newspapers have a big picture with the main story in big bold letters to draw you in. Most of the main stories are about things that recently happened. The text is mostly normal font it isn't some crazy type of font. Most photos are light and they are not dark. 
5. What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc. Some things that are different are one of the magazine in India did not have a huge picture and a huge feature story. The add took over most of the front page. Also there was a newspaper in Paris that was talking about the shooting in the USA. Lastly, the feature story for South Korea was about the Olympics and no one else had their feature story about the Olympics.
