Final Exam Planning

1. When will you shoot this assignment?
I will shoot this assignment this weekend or next weekend.
2. Where will you shoot?
I will be shooting at my house.
3. What will you be documenting or telling your "story" about?
I will be showing how to make a sentimental picture hanger for a gift.
4. What equipment needs will you have to get this finished?
I will be using a tripod, my camera, and an app to get the videos together.
5. Make sure to describe the process, by this I mean, where will you use the video portion, where will you use still images, where will your narration be, etc? I will use the still images to show the supplies needed and for when each step is introduced and when the step is finished.

Your entire product needs to be at least 3 minutes in length, but no more than 5 minutes long. You need to include the following:

You need to have between 20 and 60 still images/photos.

In addition, you must include at least 45 seconds of video footage. You can choose how to use this 45 seconds, meaning you can break it up into shorter vine-length pieces of 5, 8, 10 seconds, or you can do something that fills that space fully. You can always make the video longer.

You may include music, but you MUST narrate some portion of the video.

You will also need a title and credits at the end, like a real movie.

On the day of the final, you will need to make sure that your video is on your blog. If you choose to use a DSLR and iMovie in my class, you will need time to convert the video into the proper format, and that could take up to 30 minutes.

So get out there and start shooting – remember I am going to count frames, I will expect 20-60 (more if you get my approval ahead of time), and the video should be at least 180 seconds long (no longer than 5 minutes).
